I was browsing through a magazine - Australian Home Beautiful and this page jumped out at me this week, so I used it as my inspiration. It worked in perfectly with the photos of the hibiscus flowers that I'm loving at the moment.

Not a huge number of photos this fortnight, but it allowed me room to journal thoughts, and give some 'white space' to the spread. Using my OLW simplicity as my guide.
Week 11 - I journaled some private thoughts about our elderly neighbour's illness on the reverse of the white card, punched a semi circle out to show it can be opened there. My daughter has a growing collection of the letter A. I recorded a bottle of wine we were given from my uncle's wine label. He owns a vineyard and makes (very nice) wine under the Maven Wines label.
Our dog is crazy about fruit! At the moment it's grapes, but she eats watermelon, kiwifruit, oranges, mandarins... just about anything!
Week 12 - a quiet week. On Sunday afternoon we collected Anna's exchange student from Tahiti from the airport. She will be with us for 11 days. Perfect chance to use my newly downloaded journaling card from the Midnight edition! (the hello card). I added the student's name before printing.

I'm really looking forward to going on an Easter break. Hoping for more of this awesome weather and lots of great photos because I want to do something special with photos, both for this PL album and possibly a photobook for Anna to remember Meilin's visit. I saw a lookbook on Pinterest which took my breath away and busting to use it as inspiration:)
Thanks for stopping by. Donna
